"Another must visit in downtown Seattle across the street from the first Starbucks. Having that said it is also very overrated. Some of the little shops are kind of cool but nothing really worth buying. Food is mostly tourist traps. If it weren’t for the fact that this is one of the main tourist attractions in Seattle I would have never guessed that it is a must see place for a upscale city"
"My wife & I have lived in the Seattle area for just under 4 years and visiting Pike Place never gets old. There's always something to discover and experience. Although still late winter, signs of Spring are definitely in the air. Suggest arrive early to get a good parking spot in the Market parking lot. It fills up early. Food-wise, there are plenty of options but our favorite is Athenian. Try the mussels or clam chowder as an appetizer and fish & chips as an entree. You won't be disappointed."
"You can't visit Seattle for the first time without visiting Pike Place Market. This place has several seafood vendors selling the freshest seafood, some of them will even ship your order to your home for you. They also have the oldest running farmers market with some of the best fruit I tasted. A lot of the vendors will offer you samples, of what they are selling so you know what it taste like before you buy it. Besides vendors, there are several must try restaurants here as well, pikes famous clam chowder, also Beecher's famous Mac and cheese. Also if you love Starbucks you can visit the very first Starbucks ( just make sure you get there early bc the line gets long). Come support the locals"
"Great experience! You can find everything from fresh vegetables and great flavor, the famous salmon, chocolates, jams, hot sauces, food, flowers, bouquets, earrings and practically everything is handmade. Really was great. I was surprised to walk from the street on the same level of the place and when I saw the great view in the background, I was surprised that I was almost on the top floor of a building!"
"The colorful and interesting Pike Place market has endless shops and stalls in all fields and those that you don't even think about.. It's nice to walk around the market lines and see the expressions and smell the smells. The market is adjacent to an amazing view of the sea. An interesting tourist experience"
