"I couldn’t be any happier with the staff as well as the way they educate my child. My daughter’s teacher, Summer, quickly developed a strong relationship with my daughter and she just loves her. I was surprised at how fast my daughter was able to adapt to a daycare setting after being with me for 2 years. I have been recommending this daycare/preschool to all of my family members and loved ones because I know that their children would be in great hands. In addition to all of that I’m extremely happy with Jessica’s everlasting cheerful attitude and fast response to any financial issues or even to check up on my daughter. She is always roaming around the hallways making sure that everything is running smooth which inspires trust in me. In general, everyone is super friendly and passionate about what they do."
"I was super excited to tour this facility. The location was ideal, literally three minutes from my house. I knew Jessica from a prior daycare facility and felt an established relationship and that I could trust her. During our tour she told me that there was one spot left in the nido class and that I should hurry and register before the spot was taken. I went straight home and registered my daughter. I paid a $2,000 deposit and received an email confirmation stating they would reach out if there was an immediate opening. The facility reached out and offered my daughter a spot with a specific starting date that had been discussed during the tour. I also accepted the admissions offer which per their email would lock in the start date. Not even a month later Jessica reached out to inform me that the earliest date they could get my daughter in was almost three months later than our agreement. After reaching out to express my concern she proceeded to tell me I didn't understand what she had told me (although I had clear email communications and confirmations stating my start date was locked in). At that point, I had to proceed with looking for childcare elsewhere. I am a working mother who was expected to return to the office and have no relatives in the area that could help in the meantime. I requested my deposit be refunded because the facility had provided anticipatory agreement breach and announced in advance of the start date that they did not intend to fulfill their side of the agreement. After I had found childcare elsewhere and emailed the director (who never responded), a spot magically opened up for my daughter on the original start date. I again requested a refund of my deposit and was told they would not be refunding me because they offered my daughter a spot. I am very disappointed with this entire situation because it feels unethical to operate in this manner. It feels like they will tell you what you want to hear in order to get your deposit and then not deliver on the agreement. It's sad to see this organization so determined to keep money they did not earn and not operate in a fair and ethical manner. Shame on them for not being transparent, honest, and looking out for their families. Thankfully, my credit card dispute worked out in my favor and the credit card company refunded my money. It's just been a stressful and frustrating situation. I hope no other family has to go through something like this, I know I will NEVER recommend this facility after everything they put me through."
"Guidepost Montessori has been a great new addition to the Hillsboro community. The brand new facility offers large classrooms that are full of learning tools for children. This being our first go at Montessori education for my 1 and 4 year old, I was nervous about the transition from a traditional preschool to this new environment but both my children have thrived and grown beyond my expectations. It’s easy to see the passion and care that is given within the school from the Director down to the teachers. I’m confident when dropping off my children each day that they are in safe environment with educators who foster creativity and support them in their personal development."
"Guidepost has been such an incredible experience for our daughter - from Day 1 we have all felt very supported (being a new mom and dropping your kiddo at daycare can feel so overwhelming and scary), but Jessica and the teachers (Morgan and Jisel) have been absolutely incredible at supporting our daughter through this transition. The School is brand new and absolutely beautiful, clean, and modern. The playgrounds are safe age appropriate. If there's ever something I am concerned about I am able to talk with the staff and it's resolved immediately. I have a lot of peace of mind sending my child to Guidepost and would absolutely recommend this School to all families."
"I have had the pleasure of both working at the center and having my daughter attend. The staff, culture, and community is everything here. Every day my daughter enters her classroom excited to see her peers and Teachers. The amount of growth, independence, confidence, and overall happiness we’ve seen in our daughter over the last few months has been amazing. We are so grateful to be a part of such a wonderful school/community."
