"Teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful. A beautiful space well kept! and ready for kids to thrive and become their best selves. 10/10 would recommend"
"I am so happy we found Touchstone Preschool. We love it, and our 2 years old does too. Wonderful care and wonderful environment. They create lots of activity for the kids and the school provide lots of initiatives and opportunities. We are very happy to have our daughter here."
"This is a wonderful school. Our daughter has just completed their pre-k program. She was very happy attending school, enjoyed every day there. Her teachers were amazing, very attentive and caring. They truly care about kids and made sure kids have a safe and fun time while they are at school. We have changed many schools in the area and this school has exceeded our expectations. We had a clear communication with the school for the 1.5 years that we have been there. If there was an issue ,we were notified right away and advised on how the issue would be fixed. There are many fun events held in the school and summer camp is pretty fun too. I highly recommend this school as it's the best in the area."
"Amazing school. Awesome teachers and amazing principle. My middle and younger son go here. They are in pre-K and toddler rooms. The teachers in both rooms are really caring, polite, and friendly. They are always smiling and welcoming. It truly comes across how much they love what they do and care for our children. Love love this school. I highly recommend it. I wish they provided lunch to the kids but that’s not a negative comment just a recommendation to further simplify parents life busy schedules :-)"
"Cold and irresponsive management. Moved my now four years old son from Beaverton location to this location last November, worst choice ever. My son was expelled due to hitting incidents in May. We didn’t receive any communications on his behavior until a final warning in early March, barely four months after his enrollment. We were pretty much stunned by it, since my son never got any aggressive behavior complaints in previous daycares and actually all the teachers told us he is a sweet happy shy boy. Even one month after we switched him to this daycare, in the parent teacher conference the teachers told us the same. No concerning at home either. We had always thought he did really well at school. After receiving the warning, we took it very seriously and did a lot of homework to work on my son’s behavior, including consulting pediatrician and behavior therapist. His behavior improved tremendously per his teacher, but one more pulling hair incident ended his journey in this daycare six weeks later. If we had received earlier communications when his behavior first went off track, I’m sure things would be quite different and we would not have to put him into another entire new environment all at a sudden. Ever since the daycare center door opened last August, their enrollment increases rapidly. Maybe they are close to full capacity now, so getting rid of kids that need more time to work with is the easiest route, since they do not need to worry about getting new students. My son’s final warning came after two days’ back to back hitting incidents. After the first day, I emailed the principal on proposal and questions on what we can do as parents to improve his behavior, even by then I didn’t know my son was not behaving well in school. I thought it is an isolated incident. No response what so ever. The second day he got the final warning letter. I emailed again on the action plan, and no response. After my son was discontinued from this daycare, I emailed the principal checking the registration fee we have paid for next school year, no response. Then I got a wrong photo package and I emailed the principal again asking about my son’s photo package, no response. Thinking back, the communication we got from daycare is always at the minimal level. The teachers do not have emails if we have question to ask. To the school management: I completely understand that you are running a business, but please do not forget you are also educators. The parents put trust in you, throwing the kids under the bus is not a sustainable way to run the business. My son now goes to another new daycare center. At first we have big concerns, thinking it will be another one of those expensive daycare centers. Now three weeks have passed, my son still gets frustrated now and then, but the teacher is very experienced and from day one she tells us everything straightforward, including how he is doing with snacks, lunches, naps, what they have learned. If there is any incident, she tells us about her solution to those incidents. So we know clearly what has happened in school. Today my son started to talk about other kid in new school and asked me to pick up him later next time."
