Reviews
"I came during the week and was very disappointed that Alki Lighthouse is closed. It turned out, access to the lighthouse is only open on weekends in certain time…"
"Great tour with many historical and technical facts. Free tours and access only on Sundays provided by the dedicated volunteers of the Coast Guard Auxiliary."
"The coast guard volunteers are very gracious & shared a great amount of history and knowledge about the lighthouse. The lighthouse has most of the generational mechanisms still in it so you'll get to see centuries of innovation!"
"Beautiful lighthouse by the beach. The lighthouse is inside a gated complex and It’s closed during the winter. You can also view the light house from the beach that’s nearby. The beach has lot of drift woods. When I was there I did notice plovers by the beach and it was really interesting watching them. Sometimes it gets real windy so dress appropriately."
"Beautiful beach, especially if you go during low tide to see all of the unique eco diversity. But you cannot access the lighthouse. Easy seal watching."
