"Café Suliman is a capital hill gem! The food is excellent for sharing, the portions are perfect, & overall it just sparkles. We had the fennel, tuna butter toast, & lamb w/ hummus, & cardamom cake for dessert. Strongly recommend all of the above, they have a deep knowledge of wine & some incredible options (if you’re stopping for a gift for your host, this is the place!) but if you’re dining in & not a drinker, they have a really lovely cucumber soda"
"The most cozy and friendly vibes when we went in the evening. The beer and wine offerings are well curated and the food was unique, fresh, and tasty. I did have to eat around some very spicy sauce on the chicken dish but it was easily managed. Really impressed with what they can do in such a small space."
"One of the best meals I’ve had in Seattle. Cafe Suliman is an incredible new addition to the Seattle food scene, and I’m so enamoured with the experience we had here. The space and menu are relatively small, but everything is thoughtfully organized and curated to perfection. We had a number of things off the menu, including the foul, the cheese with apricot, lamb, mashed potatoes, chicken, the trout dish, and the cake — everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully plated. Every meat and fish dish was incredibly tender, packed with its own unique flavours, and complimented by the sides. Portions were reasonably priced and sized. Suliman is the owner and chef — he makes all the dishes one-by-one which means a little bit of a wait when it is busy, but it is so worth it. The sommelier is the co-owner, and while we aren’t wine experts, the red wine he chose for us was great and worked well with the meal. They are open for both lunches and dinners. Suliman and his co-owner are very kind, accommodating, and helpful and were a pleasure to talk to after our meal. We will definitely be back!"
"Cafesuliman and Cantina Sauvage together have a wonderful atmosphere, very chill and comfortable vibes, with delicious food, intriguingly good wines, and friendly owners. We loved the records playing. It made for a sweet date, but we also saw ppl who met with friends, and a few solo diners who also seemed to have a great time. We will be back for the tasty bites and wine."
