"This experience was so horrible I left with a sick feeling in my stomach. It seems that dr Booker might be knowledgeable about her work but completely lacking in people skills. She quickly dismissed any information that I had researched and even seemed a bit condescending with comments like "oh honey! Let me tell you about doctors you find on the internet. He may not even be a real doctor." I'm not that gullible. I was actually referring to Dr Michael Gregor of Nutrition Facts (loaded with actual research studies. That's ALL it is) but she wouldn't know that, never even inquired before dismissing. She also assumed I was raised by an ignorant, single mother (based on my intake sheet that stated my father had died which he had. My mother remarried a fabulous guy that raised me.) But the worst was when she got defensive when I asked about animal products raising body ph levels and she proceeds with another mini lecture ending with "Did you know?... No! You didn't." I never meant to directly contradict her info but I have seen things to the contrary and had concerns and questions. She didn't seem to like that :( If you're one to just listen and accept you may get along just fine."
