"Cool space but the seats were very uncomfortable. I was sliding forward since the lumbar portion was way too low and it leans you forward. Concessions were so expensive we decided to skip - a first for us. Good programming but because of painful seats and prices I don’t know if I’d go back."
"The seats could be a bit more comfortable for a new theater, but it does contribute to the small arty theater experience. Love the diversity of programming & pre-shows - will definitely be back for another quirky movie! So glad this is in the neighborhood."
"Glad that this theater is in the hood, cool interior and programming. My partner and I found the seats uncomfortable! Maybe it was just the row we were in, but it felt as though the angle of the seats didn’t fully compensate for the downward slant of the floor. It was like we had to brace ourselves from sliding out of the seat. Also the headrest pushed my head forward slightly. I’m curious to know if others have had an uncomfy sitting experience."
"I had a good time here and I like the space and so glad they did something cool with it. I saw dream scenario and it was great. Looks like they have quality cocktails and beer. My wine was good, Cooper’s Hall so to be expected, it was more on the pricey side, but a small pour, 5 oz. My only slight complaints would be the concession prices are pretty high, like $7 for the tiniest bag of popcorn, i think that’s higher than a commercial theater. I got the very last one and the line still had like 25 people in it. It had alot of kernels, so that was a bit disappointing. Also the seats are not really like stadium, I had to look between peoples heads, if I was shorter this would be more of an issue. I’ll be back though because it was fun."
"Had a really great time here! The space is super unique and the programming is creative as well. My partner and I have been forwarding links to events a lot of the past week. Great concessions as well. This is the wonderfully creative art house theater that Portland has been missing."
