"Old theater we should all support. Good selection of movies, but not as nice seating wise as some of the other local theaters. A little pricier too. But, with inclement weather and the ability to walk here, I'll take it."

"Been to this theater a couple times - have sat in the large and small rooms. Was really looking forward to a movie this past weekend but couldn't make it due to the snow and they were kind enough to transfer my tickets to a different show time! They have a great reasonably priced concession stand and it's also in the perfect location for dinner and a movie if you want to get something walkable / nearby."

"Decided to try my local theater out and it was nice. It’s definitely a bit cheaper than Regal. The seats were comfy although the slope of the floor could be better. The pizza was good! Plenty of food/drink options. I watched Saltburn, Screen 3. The screen feels a bit off center compared to the seats closest to the door. I picked a seat closer to the middle but I’m not sure I would enjoy the seats off the left as much. I would arrive a little early if you want to pick the best seat since seats are not assigned. Overall loved the small theater vibe."

"One of my favorite theaters to go to and the best spot for people in NW Portland. Tucked away on 21st, you can almost miss it with how lowkey the outside is but once your inside you are greeted with a large main theater that could pack well over 100 people. Alongside cheap tickets, reasonably priced concessions and a good viewing experience, Cinema 21 is a great place to enjoy Cinema!"

"I went to Cinema 21 recently for the first time. More recently, I went into Cinema 21 for a second time. I love this theater. Everything about it. The food is good and reasonably priced for a movie theater. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I am a bit flummoxed about why I had not tried it sooner! The price of tickets are low and a great value for experience provided. I saw Nope and the Leonard Cohen documentary on two different days. Both days were hot and very busy on NW 21st Ave. I slid into the theater and all of that melted away. There is local advertising before the movie starts, which is excellent and fun. The whole place has the best vibe and I am looking forward to making this a regular part of my future months in NW Portland."
