"I’ll give 2 stars for the quick response to my initial request to view the apartment. I had An appointment scheduled at 12pm. I arrived 10 min early because I’m punctual. I was given a confirmation text and was in communication with the agent. I was given a contact number to confirm the appointment and another if I had any questions. I let them know I was there and waited about 15-20 minutes. I text both numbers a few times and got no response. I ended up leaving and it’s been an hour since my appointment with no apology or attempt to rectify the situation. This is horrible customer service and a bad first impression. Don’t waste people’s time. I will say the community looks nice and clean in a secluded area."
"Shout out to Ms.Krystal for making the process of my home so easy and clear. If anyone is looking for a home go see Krystal Cassidine she was polite, very transparent and communicated from the beginning to when we moved in. Thanks krystal so happy for your customer service and hospitality i love my new home!:)"
"New management from Nicole seems to really be working. Very communicative and understanding. My biggest problem with apartment complex’s usually is lack of communication from management. Leasing agents always putting off blame and nobody knows what is going on. Nicole is really pushing to make sure your voice is heard. If your interested, please give this place another chance as she is really trying hard and I can see the difference. Isn’t the perfect complex, but I feel it can be if she stays!!!!!!"
"I recently relocated from Georgia to Washington. I suffer with anxiety really bad so I had a friend in the area locate places for me and view them so that when I arrived my transition would be smooth. A week before I started my cross country trip the place I had secured fell through. My friend called Sunrise Ridge and spoke with Danielle. Danielle emailed pictures, answered all my questions, and sent over an application. Because of my friends schedule and her flight to come to GA to help me drive back she couldn’t go by the area. Fast forward to day 4 on the road, we’re in California and Danielle returns my phone call. She answers a few more of my questions. I go ahead and submit the application (still no actual eyes on the property). She calls back when we make it to Oregon and I’m approve for move in. As soon as I get to Tacoma I go get a cashiers check for rent and deposit and turn in, still no eyes on the apartment. The current tenants moved out and Mr. Darrell turned the apartment around in one day for me to move in, I even got brand new carpet. Danielle and I do a walk through, finally eyes on the apartment, and I’m actually happy with the apartment at the price I pay. Of course with the quick turn around there are a few things that need repair, but I’m convinced Mr. Darrell will take care of them. The area outside of the complex is not the best but they have no control over that and it doesn’t bother me. This whole process was done with me trusting a complete stranger, anxiety spikes, and stress eating and in the end, Danielle and Mr. Darrell didn’t let me down. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is due to wording. After submitting the application it says $300 earnest money will be deducted from account. Which I thought goes towards property like when buying a house. The receipt says holding fee and on account it says non refundable admin fee. I would prefer clarity on the front end before submitting application that it’s a non refundable admin fee once approved. That way I know where all monies are being used or how much I’ll need all together to follow through with deal. Other than that, I’m happy, satisfied, and look forward to my stay here in Tacoma."
"Horrible management! They never answer the phone! Slow maintenance. Trust the reviews. I agree with most except those with 4 stars, I can imagine that one of the staff members wrote that! Really bad experience! They are changing their name to the Lodge, but the name change is t going to change the fact that management is the worse. I've been overcharged monthly for the last year and they have yet to fix my account. DO NOT MOVE HERE! Update: 0ct 2nd 2017 I finally moved out. Thank god. And even after moving out it has been a nightmare. I turned the keys to the apartment on August 31st, and no one was available to do a final walk out with me, even after requesting an appt. several months prior. No email response or call back. I hired a cleaning services prior to turning the apartment in. A month later I decide to call about my deposit, go figure, after requesting a manager call back, I get an invoice of a balance of $270, including keeping my deposit. Funny thing is that my account was ready to go to collections and no one even contacted me to let me know about this so call made up balance. Then they requested my payment for a day after finally getting in touch with me. I just want to be done with them. New management or not this is the worse place o have ever lived or rented from. There is dog poop everywhere. The walls are thin so you can hear the neighbors yelling at each other. They let low life's rent. Marijuana and other drugs smell all over the building. Sketchy neighbors. My car got broke into plenty times. Morale of the story: DO NOT RENT FROM THEM, the also owe Madrona point ."
