"Afforable, liveable, close to restarants, bars and winco, and hotels"
"I was actually surprised to hear the complaints about the mellow dramatic crime that occurs in this building I mean yoh would think this is Dubai or something with the way that 1600 a month what it gets you. No AC in the summer apartment is worn down and from what I Can tell there's only a fire place for the winter. That's not even the beginning of people yelling in the windows at all hours and the threat of something escalating to being worse. It feels kind of in between something nice and the worst part of chicago. I feel as tho my rent for the circumstances should if been lower and even then is your life worth cheaper rent? Somehow I feel as though or society in certain towns deems that behavior acceptable so don't say anything as otherwise you wouldn't be believed."
"New management is awesome! They have completely changed the issues around this complex! I do recommend these apartments now that a competent manager is managing it."
"It is very discouraging that as long as I have lived here, the management doesn't seem to care about any concerns I have regarding living here. Both my child and I have been threatened by a neighbor who bangs on the ceiling all through the night into the early morning. Cars have been broken into or messed with and security doesn't seem to care much. There is trash all over the apartments, and all along the road is broken down cars that are being worked on by people who are homeless or cars that were totaled or cars broken into that are left for parts. Black mold all through out the apartment all year round. Grateful for the roof over my head but at what point will management care about our wellbeing while living here."
"***Edited Sept 11, 2015*** After multiple attempts to rectify the unreasonable management symptoms, our deposit was finally in the mail and in FULL. Rather than taking the entire $75 they "negotiated with me" the first time I complaint about the charges being made against us were wrong, I gave them a piece of my mind and the outcome that would result in the inability to assess each individual tenant like a human being rather than stealing from their "frequent movers". They have a TENDANCY OF TAKING FREQUENT MOVING DEPOSITS. So says one of their employees. They add up so called "charges and excuses" to be the EXACT amount you would be getting back if the apartment was "cleaned" on the way moving out. They will waive your application fee to get you in the door, and hardly make any attempt to actually understand who their tenants are before taking your money on the way out of your apartment. BASICALLY, it took 2 attempts of ranting and being the more responsible and honest adult than they were being. You will have to mention that you will talk to the State Tenant Union (Tenant's Rights for State of Washington) or else they will push you around like the corporation they are. *** Lived there for 7 months, pretty much a great price for the space and convenience of being near the freeway. The only real bad thing I experienced there was no recycling was available. I went from recycling EVERYTHING i disposed of, to loading up the ocean with tons of my own waste since they are not responsible or even near earth-friendly to have a single recycling bin or option available. I felt my stomach and heart weaken every time I threw something away. I do not believe it is MY responsibility to provide that option to recycle. The place I live now, actually has a problem not having ENOUGH recycling containers because they're way more earth-friendly. It just takes one change. I would have kept living there. They also have been taking their own time not giving out any details about our deposit even though it's been a full month since we gave them the key. Correct the management communication with your old residents as well as your current residents and provide them with options, you will have a happier business."
