"The renovations have now been going for 8 months. They removed fireplaces and did not finish the interior of the apartments 5 months ago. Communication from management barely exists since the company doing the renovations doesn't seem to communicate with them either. Often times find out last minute that water will be shut off or that we'll have limited access to our unit for the day. They are also adding a playground that is perfectly placed to echo throughout several apartment buildings. There has been zero communication about timeline or end date for any of this. The property management company also has not responded to any inquiries."

"Lived here 4 years (thanks COVID). The pool has been open maybe 5 times. There's never an apartment manager for more than 3 months. The parent company Dobler Management does nothing to respond to tenants. They took away tenant parking spots so good luck parking near your actual apartment. Major renovations taking place for over a month now with no warning. Don't live here."

"Trust the reviews! This place will scam you for your money. My boyfriend and I paid $160 to apply, we make four times the rent which only 2 1/2 is required to be approved and they denied our application. I have great credit we both have rental history And have both been employed for several years. They will just make up excuses. This place is a complete rip off. SCAMMERS!!!!"

"My wife and I just moved to the Tacoma area from Texas because of the military, we were needing to find an apartment asap. At first Emily was very helpful and responsive. We were looking for a one bedroom apartment which they stated someone else was also applying for but if we filled out the application and turned everything in before them we still had a chance to get it. We paid $60x2 for the application fee to the be advised that the apartment we wanted was no longer available, but they did have a two bedroom. Needing a place urgently we were willing to switch our application to the two bedroom. Even though we both make well over 3x the monthly rent they would not accept my pay statements from Texas even though I was being employed with the same company, and because my husbands BAH hadn't been updated yet from the Texas rate to the Washington rate they wouldn't accept his pay either. After misleading us, they were more than happy to take our money, and after numerous phone calls and emails asking if we could qualify with a cosigner or additional deposit we still haven't heard anything back after two weeks. Through this whole process we were working with a gal named Emily. Zero out of ten, do not recommend. Will mislead you and steal your money."

"We loved living at orchard crest! My husband is military and we were trying so hard to find a home so we weren't totally homeless when we got to Washington, caitlin stayed in close contact with me for months to assure we'd have a place to live. She made the process less stressful and super smooth! We unfortunately didn't get to stay long since my husband got orders for California after only being there about 6 months. Caitlin also made the move out super easy! She was very informative and got our deposit and rent refund back to us in a timely manner. We were very grateful for that! We'd recommend orchard crest over and over again."
