"I had a our of this beautiful property. I loved the place. Kathryn was so kind and professional. I have liked the place. I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves quite place."
"I lived here for a year, just moved out ten days ago. I really liked the apartment, had no issues with the property managers and was sad to go. However, I just checked their website and saw that my old apartment is listed for $200 less than they were asking for in my renewal offer. Which just seems kind of scummy, you know? You're going to screw an existing, unproblematic tenant out of hundreds of dollars a month more than you know the apartment is worth, but are willing to go lower for an unknown, potentially problematic tenant? I just hope that any current or future tenants are aware of the fact that they obviously don't care about the people that rent from them, and are more than willing to screw them over without a second thought. Be wary of their renewal offers and don't let them hit you where it hurts."
"I lived at this complex for approximately 21/2 years probably wont be resigning a lease here, mainly due to location, but for what its worth I thought why not leave an honest review... * The apartments themselves have an interesting layout, design; its dated, but still a good use of space nonetheless. They are modernizing units at the moment, so if you sign a lease here you can expect newer appliances and new floors as the carpets in most of the units are being replaced w/ wood laminate. Parking has never been an issue here, plenty of spaces.. *The management is okay. Ive had a few rather un pleasant interactions with the leasing agent who stays on the property. I would llike to believe I'm patient and easy to deal with, as evidenced by a maintenence request put in for my neighbors leaking bath water dripping in my bathroom that wasnt responded to for 3 months, and took almost 6 months to finally get fixed; it took a few visits to get it right. During this time, I never once put up a big fuss, I just wanted the problem fixed. Despite this, Ive been met with a condesending tone by this lady almost everytime we've interacted; she is rather disinterested in any of my concerns and actually raised her voice at me over the phone when she failed to communicate information to me that I requested. I followed up 2 days after I was supposed to recieve a response, more specifically a new lease to sign, but was pleasantly (Sarcasm) surprised by her tone; I don't care how long it takes, I care that I was given a date, and I was neither followed up with nor contacted on said date. Prior to her raising her voice over the phone, I brought up concerns about damage to my vehicle; her tone consistent as afore mentioned. My concern was specifically the lack of security (Seen a security care roll through here once, and I wouldnt be surprised if theyre even contracted with a company at all) and lack of surveillance, especially since the price of carport parking has almost double in 2 years. I mentioned that Lynnwood has a history of car theft, and even though my vehicle wasn't stolen, it seemed odd not to have some video monitoring given the cities history alone, "Oh Ive lived in this city for years and never heard of that kind of problem." her response. 1 month later, my neighbors car was stolen from this complex. You can also see another review of damage done to someone elses car, perhaps theyre concerned, but there has been zero actions on behalf of the residents to make sure our vehicles are safe, so Im going to assume they really dont care. Video montoring is cheap, easy to set up; I highly doubt that will happen. Do yourself a favor and make sure you monitor your vehicle when living here. * Care damage is an issue here, it has been a concern of my neighbors as they have spoken to me about it personally, and with the state of the economy, who can afford to have their vehicle vanalized? A simple easy to read sign stating the complex is under 24 hour surveillance even if it not is a great deterrent, yet this is somethhing I dont thnk is worth their time. *Rent has increased by at least 20%, in two years, carports about 100% in two years. It is what it is, but dont expect anything other than the average apartment rental experience here. *In summary this place get 3 stars simply just because its average, probaly below average, I would give 2.5 stars if I could becasue the afore mentioned issues, but 2 is a bit harsh. 4 stars for meets and exceeds expectations, and 5 stars is going above and beyond expectations, neither of which they do. The "District" property manager is pleasant, but the resident leasing agent is someone whom I care little to interact with. If youre expecting empathy, or atleast someone to cares about some issue you have during your residency, then you'll be dissapointed. Overall, Orchard Ridge will be another one of those places you live at simply because it fits, or what you need at the moment, definately nothing more, and hopefully nothing less. -your friendly neighborhood nurse"
"Currently stay here and this place is the worst can’t wait to get out of this apartment. Signed the lease for 2,056 but for some reason I’m paying closer to 2,300 month? Raised the price after I already signed the lease. Gave me a spider infested apartment. I’m paying for pest control but they can’t seemed to doing anything. When I called the response I got from the office was “it’s spider season?” I should not be killing spiders in my daughters room after tucking her in for bed. Also the parking is a nightmare people seem to have reserved parking stalls but rather park where ever they want and only park in the reserved stall as a last resort? Now I’m trying to watch tv in my living room but can’t seem to get the power to stay on? Never had issues like this at my last apartment and you would think you get what you pay for well I’m paying a lot and got better living conditions at my 1,200 a month apartment I just moved out of. I don’t want to hear I’m sorry for your the issues I’m dealing with I’m counting down the day I break the lease and move out or wait until my lease is up. Do not recommend living here office staff is cold and rude and could care less. And like to charge more then the addendum amount signed in the lease. But of liars and thieves. Think twice before moving here."
"I have lived here for almost 6 months now, my first apartment ever. The process was fast and easy and the management team is nothing but amazing! They really help you as best as they can to make sure you are comfortable and get what you are looking for. Maintenance is amazing as well, very fast to respond and makes sure everything is done well. The apartment it self is definitely old, you can feel your neighbors walk around, and hear them occasionally but nothing to serious. I live in a updated unit and the cabinets are beautiful and the floor is also very nice. Parking also is never a problem, even when I get home late I am always able to find a spot to park. Also these apartments are right in the middle of shopping centers, lots of stuff to do. I would recommend anyone to live here if you are just starting off!"
