"Yes, Point Ruston is a beautiful place to live, but not in this building. Cars get broken into in the “secure” parking garage. Property manager has mentioned to me that car prowlers have stolen garage door openers which is probably how they have been able to get access in addition to following vehicles through the garage. This was said to me when my car was broken into. My car has had large white marks at the top of it from a cement substance that drips from the overhead pipes in the basement garage. When I mentioned this to Stephanie I was offered a free car wash after already expressing I got one, but would not take responsibility for the matter beyond that. I needed to have the substance scraped from my vehicle. Rather than invest in correcting the issue, there is tarp sprawled across the ceiling with hose hanging out. Some residents in the building allow their pets to use the stairwell, garage, atrium and exterior hallways as bathrooms. There are fobs to access the building, but would not consider the building secure. The back elevator is currently accessible for anyone to enter making it a safety issue for residents. Doors are often propped open when they should not be. Be wary of the charges posted to your account and services the property management company will sign you up for that requires a fee. Property managers will lie straight to your face for financial gain. The elevators are extremely slow, one is currently down and has been down for two+ months. If noise is an issue for you I would be mindful that there is a train that goes by and it does so often. If you are on a lower level there are cars, motorcycles that like to rev their engines, blast music and speed through also you can hear nearby construction. If you move to a unit on the second floor there is a gym there where people like to drop weights and you will hear it. Also, when there are issues with the garbage compactor the trash piles up and you smell it throughout the entire hallway. Now most recently someone has been stealing packages from the package room. Corporate states that they will reach out to you within two business days to address concerns, but are lackluster themselves. There are two other apartment buildings in the community and occasional rentals that come up in the condo buildings that I would recommend looking at before you even consider this building."

"Like everyone else has said Avery is the best. We have lived in two units now here. We transferred last year into this unit which has an amazing water view with pretty decent sized deck. Avery is the one that put me on to this unit. I couldn’t be happier. I plan to downsize in the near future and will probably stay here as long as Avery is here and rent prices don’t get too high. I’m looking forward to transferring units again in a few months when it’s time to renew our lease. The people complaining about the elevator service are over exaggerating. I’ve lived in many luxury apartment complexes and all of them have elevator woes. Just comes with the territory. But ten to 20 minutes to get to your car? That’s not true, I’m on the sixth floor and the longest I have ever waited for an elevator units is two minutes. My only complaint is preference and things management can’t control. Some if the tenants smoke weed in their units. With the building construction the smell travels to other units due to open air connection between units with sliding doors. We just simply taped up that space between the door and the wall door since it’s just access to our closet. And sometimes the people ruin it. Also the noise in the summer if your apartment faces the parking garage can be a bit much in the summer. Management can only do so much. Any repairs had been made promptly. Avery is super chill and friendly. Stephanie is also cool. The units are spacious and the quality of certain things is better than other apartments including the ones across the street. It’s a decent place to live."

"I loved living here! I was one of the first few to move in, with new management things ran smoothly! The management team were quick to get things done! I loved having everything so close to me. The gym across the street, restaurants, dental, coffee shops, the playground for my daughter, the movies, shops downstairs. Indoor garage with closed gates. Highly recommend having a parking spot on the 1st floor if you can get it. underground parking was a nightmare for me. BUT don’t let that stop you from moving here. The killer view is to die for! The sun rises right into my living room and the sun set is so beautiful. It’s peaceful and quiet I loved reading on my patio at night. Also everyone you meet are so friendly! Great community to live in! Highly recommend!"
