Broadway Apartments

"I do not typically write reviews but people should know what they are getting into here.. You can hear your upstairs neighbor like they are standing right next to you. Anytime someone enters the building on either side (two entrances) the door slams and causes the building to shake (every time). The garbage disposal backs up about twice a year and smells horrible. They email you all the time about stupid "community gatherings" where they spend your ungodly high rent on bagels and muffins in their office and implore you to interact. The thing that gets me though is when the person upstairs does their laundry, your apartment literally shakes. The only room I would rent from this place is the top floor in the middle (NOT the corners with the extra window). This way you would avoid anyone above you, you will barely feel the door close when people enter the building, and your garbage disposal will not back up being at the top. Also note, when I moved in, the toilet and microwave were not cleaned and the closet smelled SO bad. I have no idea why. And the ladies (meaning 20 something year old females) who run the "office" could give two shoots who you are. They probably make 15-20 bucks an hour so who would blame them. I advise you.. this is a money grabbing scheme. A perfect example of rich people building with cheap materials and charging the youth an arm and a leg to worsen our City. I would not pay over $750/month here.. Good luck with that anywhere.. and good luck to you. Hope this helps Context - lived here for 1.5 years and no neighbor lasted"
