"Michelle is one of the best landlords I've ever had. She takes good care of the property with her team, and she cares for the tenants. I've had no major problems going on the 2 years I been here."
"Excellent management. I moved to Vancouver for a new job and brought very few items with me as my family was staying behind at our previous home for a few months. Rhonda & Michelle were extremely accommodating, and even helped me out by setting up me in a mostly furnished apartment at no extra cost. They both were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my situation. I was only in the apartment for 2 months, as it was not a place where I wanted to house my family, as this tends to be a seedier part of town and some of the residents are pretty questionable - but for my circumstances, it was perfect, they made my transition to Vancouver an excellent one."
"I'm moving out of Forest Glen to a larger complex under the same management. I lived here for about a year, and for the most part it was enjoyable. Rent is month-to-month and reasonable for Vancouver (and extra reasonable if you're getting priced out of Portland). Underneath the floors lie thick concrete, so sound is a non issue. Parking is always easy, and this complex is within a block to several different bus lines. It's also within walking distance of Walmart Neighborhood Market. The building was constructed in the 1960s, and in some ways it can show. Renovations weren't perfect, but I never felt frustrated with the state of things. Management is friendly and maintenance is very prompt. I am used to waiting 4-5 days for maintenance, but here I was usually called the same day. Majority of units have built-in AC, a nice bonus with the more extreme summers we've had. On-site laundry is my one sore point: I found the machines just don't do a good job, despite trying different load sizes and detergents. It seems the machines don't really mix everything well. You may be better off with a laundromat. As a last mention, these apartments are ideal as one person units. The bedroom walls have about a one foot gap from the ceiling, so alone time and different bedtimes can be a challenge if you're a couple. All in all, I found this to be one of the better places I've lived, and Michelle is a great manager. It's my impression that this complex used to be a lot rowdier and run-down, but she's kept it in check. My neighbors are all quiet and friendly, and I've extended the same courtesy to them."
"I have lived here over 2 years. I love it here. Michelle, the manager is the best. Besides this bring s security building, the manager made me feel welcome and has continued to be very efficient and a warm person. However she can be one tough lady when she needs to be. she keeps the riff Raff out of here. The location is close to everything, and the rent is reasonable."
