"Currently can’t even pay rent cause the manger disconnected their line and their website expired, nothing was said either. Trash is never picked up, doors don’t even lock like they should. we had a bike stolen from the “safe bike room”. it’s $150 a month to have your car stuck in a garage. Carpets have dog pee and other things on them. Whenever we contact maintenance it takes forever. i’m paying $1400 for a studio and the closet door broke the first day i moved in. do not live here. they don’t care about residents and how much they are paying. there are much better options in the area. I want out of my lease here."
"The price is definitely not worth the (lack of) quality. Sound travels far, the property management team are very unresponsive and maintenance issues constantly arise and the building doesn’t feel safe. Don’t let those large patios on the second floor deceive you, the light only hits them from 11-2pm on sunny days. For starters, management is nowhere to be found, they are unresponsive to emails and only reach out when they want something. There are no sound barriers! I could hear conversations happening in the flat across from mine from my living room, and the neighbor next door’s TV word by word. I needed earplugs to sleep. The building is not safe at all - my new bike was somehow stolen from the bike room even though it had one of the tougher kryptonite locks and cables and it kind of just disappeared out of thin air. More than once I saw questionable people that did not live in the building walking across on the little grass patch above the garage and looking into my apartment on the second floor. Even though the deposit might be low, don’t expect to get it back. I wouldn’t recommend anyone live there, while the location is great the price doesn’t reflect the quality of the building."
"Disgusting trash. Broken amenities. Security breaches. Absent management. Broken garage door. These are just some of what you can look forward to at the Robert. I have lived here since the building opened. Since then: - Building is not secure - anyone who wanders into the garage can get to EVERYONE's front door - Storage lockers have been discarded and abandoned since move-in - Trash regularly overflows - Large items of debris have been sitting at dumpster for months - Door to garage does not lock - Call box regularly breaks and takes several days to fix. - Garage door breaks, trapping cars inside - Bike room was broken into several times - Carpets are filthy - Corners cut throughout building - Front door is missing a handle - Management is absent unless they're trying to fill vacancies| what a shame. A great location that could be well kept with a modicum of pride and attention."
"The garage door is currently locked down and nobody can get their cars in or out. I needed to be somewhere yesterday and had to cancel because I couldn’t leave the building. My washing machine broke and it took 4 maintenance requests for someone to even acknowledge it, I ended up having to fix it myself because nobody would come fix it. The in unit heaters in a ton of units broke this winter and again management does not care. And they’re listing the same unit I’m living in for $500 less, with no option for me to restructure my lease. Trash is everywhere, carpets are all stained. Place used to be nice and well run… not the case now."
"For the amount you pay, it's not a great place to live. The sound travels way too much, the hot water goes out all the time (it's currently been out for the last 12 hours) and none of the fans in the bathrooms turn off. And it's by design that they don't turn off. For the first three months I lived here, my fridge didn't get cold. Several calls to the maintenance guy and all he said was "fridges make noise". If you're deaf, you might enjoy this apartment."
