"My husband and I applied here and were under the impression by the property manager that we would get it. When we called or tried to get in touch with someone at the office NOBODY ever came back to us or returned a single one of our calls. When my husband went to the complex to talk to someone a resident said they are NEVER in the office. We never got an email for why we were declined and have never been so disappointed in a complex. It really sucks because the apartments are beautiful and very affordable. So to have the lack of communication and the terrible ability to talk to someone or give them reasons why is not a sign of us EVER wanting to be here. Thanks for giving us the sign that you are NOT the place for us. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE"
"Don’t move here. Unfortunately- the apartments are beautiful and spacious inside but these apartments are terrible. When we first moved in, it took maintenance over 2 months to fix VERY serious issues, with things 9 months later still broken. The unit wasn’t even clean, with still cleaning supplies and a layer of dog hair on the carpet. The rent looks cheap but once you’re in, they will fine you for ANYTHING. The tenants before us left a dead plant on our balcony and we had a notice on our door of a fine is we didn’t take throw it away. IT WAS LEFT THERE AND NEVER CLEANED. Cars are being stolen here left and right, in the summer the kids that live here are not supervised and vandalize the apartments and management does nothing. Won’t get security, won’t offer any help. We had to ask permission to get a camera and hope to not get fined because you’re not even allowed a doormat. We just had a serious ice storm where there was zero communication from the office. There was zero upkeep. Our cars were trapped for over a week, with cars slid into the guardrail, residents trapped. Maintenance nowhere to be found - NOT MAINTAINED AT ALL. With multiple elderly residents that live up on the ridge. Unacceptable on so many levels. Don’t be fooled. You’ll love your space but pray nothing breaks, pray there’s zero issues with weather because you will only have management who only lets you pay rent on the 1st (not early) doesn’t care about your safety or the law and will find you for having a folding chair on your balcony."
"DON'T MOVE HERE. This place is HORRIBLE. Management only gives cookie-cutter responses to all of these issues. This place seems peaceful and with beautiful surroundings but what no one tells you/nor complains about in any of the reviews is that is noisy and filthy at all times. In the summer, there's children constantly running towards traffic, playing and screaming outside from 9am to 9pm. There's no way to enjoy any windows open due to the loudness of these kids and construction noise one street down. Also, no one mentions it to be a family-heavy place and during winter when everybody's at home, shared walls are a HUGE issue. Most people with families here are inconsiderate and allow their children to run up and down the stairs. Constant thumping, screaming and door slamming. Dogs barking and winning. Kitchen cabinets being slam too often. The apartment itself is huge and it has a nice layout. There's also lots of trees everywhere and it has a nice view of mount hood and the border to Portland. Other than that, if you're looking for a nice place to enjoy some peace and quiet or in other words, to keep your sanity, lookout ridge is not it. I've have been also experiencing harassment from the neighborhood children. This harassment has gotten to a point where one of them in front of my camera said "Let's do it to my neighbors because they're really really mean and they get payback". These kids are constantly taunting my ring camera, smearing poop and dirt on my door and touching any ornaments that are put outside during the xmas season. And now from the parents as well, violently pounding on my door to get me to come out. So now I'm being threaten just for wanting peace and quiet. And management does nothing about anything. Constant excessive noise issues with next door neighbors continues not to mention residents here DO NOT pick up after their dogs so there's dog feces everywhere. This place is a JOKE, the last leasing office staff left due to poor treatment from residents and owner. They're backed up for months on maintenance request because they only have two people working on that. Again, not a single rule is being enforced. It has been an exhausting experience and I truly regret signing up the lease."
"Please consider living somewhere else, yes the rent is ok, the apartment nice and spacious, but it comes with High water cost about 200 a month. They have these alarm boxes that go off all hours of the night, this is why I am up and writing this review. Maintenance is overworked, understaffed and probably underpaid, you put in work orders no one ever shows up. My heater and A/C 6 months in, is still broken. You are better off paying extra in renting a house. Oh and how can I forget the mail theft from the front of my door."
"I’ve lived here for several years now and I still am amazed by the view. It’s a peaceful spot, and we often see bunnies and deer. Sometimes the office will have little treats like donuts for us. One time a taco truck came. I really like the open feeling of the living room, dining room and kitchen in the 3 bedroom apartments. We enjoy sitting on my balcony and peeking at Mt. Hood. The kitchen is pretty with granite counters and my wood floor is beautiful in the dining and kitchen area. The schools are great! The property manager Melinda and Rachel are friendly. They are my favorite office staff we have had so far."
