"With a heavy heart I have to say I am disappointed in the The Monterey Apartments. I had a NSF charge on my rent and I cleared it with my bank. But due to recent winter storm and my bank being closed and the fact the bank put 7 day hold on the check. I was stuck waiting. So I closed my one account, decided to reopen another account with my boyfriend who is now living with me and is paying the rent. The Monterey said "they will no longer accept checks from me for the next 12 months." I must go pick up money orders from now on. Well I guess you could say that I won't renewing my lease. By the way, I have been renting from them for over 4 years and this is first time this has happened to me. You would think they would show more compassion for their renter's."

"My family lived here for almost 6 years, and we had a wonderful experience. The office staff is always friendly and kind, especially Lyndi, the manager, she's on top of it. She was great at following up with anything going on, and keeping the community informed on any changes, pool openings, or fun events they were doing for the community! The maintenance men there are also great, quick to fix any need, and very respectful of your space, they even wore booties into your home to not dirty floors when wet outside! Great place to live!"
