"I have lived here for almost 2years. I am getting ready to move to a house. (It is just my preference. I work from home and need a larger space) so here it goes..My hubby and I was not give much time to transfer here from our home in Vegas. Many other places, the application process was painful. Ashley was wonderful and let's not forget Savannah. We got the place in no time. Due to the fact we were moving from Vegas they work with us on the moving date. We didn't have to pay for time we weren't using the place. ( it is case by case and there were plenty open units). During our time here ...if things were not working properly they fixed it. Since they put in the portal online, it is EASY to request maintenance, pay rent, email questions and concerns. The office staff replied quickly and responded appropriately to all concerns. This is the first apartment and property manager i have ever dealt with, i was very leery about them invading my privacy. They leave you alone until you need help. Then they are their quickly. I had an issue with a muddy area. I was miserable for almost 8 months. I finaly sent an email to Ashley and the next day they graveled the area. If you are un happy with anything call or email. Don't wait like I did. I felt dumb at how easy it was to have my issue resolved. So i am about to put my notice in, I will let you all know how the leaving process goes. But for now. Ashley and Savannah...you earned a 5 star. Oh yeah.. Neighbor are friendly, we swap numbers incase emergency. No drug or gangs.. I laughed when I saw that review. If you have an animal pick up the poop. That was the only neighborhood issue. Other than that its a nice place. And if u get my unit...its a great back yard."
"Mauna Loa Duplexes are nice and a quiet cual de sac. The units are good for folks who are comfortable in 800sq ft. These are a little small for families over 3 people as they are all 2bdr 1 bath units. They do have individual covered car ports. So much nicer than other locations with the local weather. Management is responsive and take care of any issues within 24-48 hours. I’ve only had to call them once for a fridge issue which was resolved with a new fridge. I would recommend these units to others."
"I lived at Mauna Loa with my family for 18 months. It was hell! Moved recently due to constant harassment by our nextdoor neighbors for almost a year. Management thinks giving notices and having talks with people will solve problems but they never work. We felt we had no other choice but to leave because no matter what Management did, it got worse. Way worse. Management didn't handle the situation well at all. It was not a safe place for us our child. We were still forced to pay a full months rent even though we left halfway through but they were kind enough to waive the lease breaking fee. Luckily we got almost our full deposit back quickly after leaving. We had to deal with drug dealers/buyers, drug users, fights, police activity and so much more and management didn't handle it quickly when I reported the issues. I have a lot more to say about the property and management, but if you choose to live here, you'd figure it out eventually."
