"We completed an application for this company and were charged $50.00 each for the fee. To be fair, it does say that the fee is non-refundable. However, I called less than 24 hours later informing them that we signed with another company and even though they did not use the fee to check our background they still refused to refund the money. It also took 3 calls and an email within a 2 week period to even get a response. I really feel that if someone withdraws their application before it is processed an exception should be made to the refund policy. All this company did for us was steal $100.00. I am thrilled we did not sign a contract with them. Do yourself a favor and go with a company that is fair and cares about their customers. There are property management companies that will refund your application fee if you don't sign a contract with them. These guys clearly just care about themselves."
