"We attended a conference recently in the conference center. It was a large and clean space with plenty of seating. Lots of parking for our company. The event was catered by the hotel and excellent."

"The Monarch Hotel is a great place to stay, and the staff are so kind and accommodating. Our family stayed with them during a recent ice storm that left us without power. They went above and beyond to help our family have warmth and safety, and even made a special exception to allow our dog to come with us. We are impressed and grateful for their service. Happy to recommend this place to anyone traveling to Portland!"

"Went for an event. The hotel seems kinda old and super well kept, although they had some construction equipment outside. The restaurant and speakeasy were intriguing but didn't have time to check them out."

"Went for a coin show. Lived near this area my whole life and never been inside. Has a dark small lobby area and the restauraut is a bit over priced for the food. Coin show was great, I scored on quite a few items."

"Hotel seems a little dated inside but is clean. My room was near the 205 freeway but they did a good job sound proofing my room because it was quiet. I highly recommend going to the restaurant or getting room service. Food was very good and not that expensive. Room service was fast too. They will serve drinks to your room too. If I go back to Portland again I would stay again."
