"Old Imperial hotel now Lucia built 1909. Upgraded me to better room and it is great! Nice view beautiful building fabulous service. I do not drive do not know about parking. :) Clean super affordable four star hotel has amenity fee and deposit. Super staff!"

"Absolutely fabulous night away in downtown Portland at Hotel Lucia! The hotel is spotless, near lots of great coffee shops and restaurants, and the room was very comfortable. I slept two hours longer than I normally do at home, it was so dark and quiet. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind, from welcoming us with free beer and cider at check-in to helping me with coffee maker issues to encouraging me to stay and get some work done in the lobby after check out. We are locals, but we love doing little staycations in downtown Portland. We'll pick the Lucia again next time!"

"Room was classic. Service was TOP NOTCH!!! Hands down BEST customer service I have ever received (as a fellow service industry worker, this is HUGE!!!) As a small town girl, I was nervous about our stay in downtown during current times. EVERY worry was put to rest when we checked in. From the opening of the door for us, to the local advice for fun/affordable/safe activities, to key card access to use the elevator, to actually CONNECTING with staff you are speaking with. I couldn't recommend this place more. Ken, the weekend door man, is an amazing soul. I watched him interact with MULTIPLE guests while chatting outside with him... ( I honestly think he was making sure I was safe while smoking at 1am after many previous interactions) He went above and beyond for everyone that entered. *he also read clues as to people who didn't want to be talked to, which is HUGE in the industry I work for, so naturally close to my heart.* From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, I have never felt more "at home" while away. They know what they are doing AND they have an AMAZING CREW to follow through. Definitely will be back!!!"
