Hilton Garden Inn Olympia

"I was promptly greeted at the counter. Check in was a breeze. Menus for the restaurant is located at all the elevator bays. I was given two complimentary waters since I was traveling on business. That was a nice touch as I traveled with a limited amount. I was asked specifically what floor I’d like, I took 4 as it was the highest floor available at that time. Go figure I chose the floor that had a room directly under a family. I heard a ball being bounced over and over, kids jumping off furniture and running around. It was not restful or relaxing. Thankfully I came with earplugs. It just would have been nice to be warned by the gentleman checking me in that that room had a family above it so that I could have chosen a different floor. Kalvin was the server for breakfast. His service was impeccable. He truly connected with all his customers, he has a vibrant personality, he was funny, quick, great customer service all around. Also, had the breakfast sandwich. Was by far one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had. Kudos to the cook that day. He even offered to cook up another slice of bacon if I felt so inclined. Really great stay with service! First time staying at a Hilton and I don’t regret it."

"The room was specious but that's about all that I can say positive about them. I was very disappointed. The floors were dirty and liked like they weren't vacuumed, the showers need deep cleaned, the bed was uncomfortable and then pictures shown are of the torn sofa and carpet. The prices were raised way too high due to an event going on in town. If I'm in town again, I'll definitely go to another brand hotel."

"The host RJ was wonderful. I had an issue and he went above and beyond to make it right, keeping in communication as the evening progressed. The breakfast sausage is meh, but the eggs are real eggs and they keep them fresh so they don’t dry out. The snack bar choices are excellent, and when my companion stayed in the hot tub too long and got woozy, the host that night was able to quickly grab us a Gatorade. Oh and that hot tub is amazing! Nice and strong jets and the pool area is nice and clean. The hotel is pet friendly so it was nice to see dogs here. One of the hosts has a service dog and it was obviously very well trained and accepted a brief head scratch after I got permission from its person. Overall a 5 out 5."

"Appreciate the helpfulness of the staff to accommodate us. We had to travel a day early because of winter storm. Staff helped me make extra reservation and kept us in the same room so we didn't have to move when originally reservation started. We stayed 4 nights, and the staff located us in a room close to the side door that was very convenient for having two dogs."
