"I loved the atmosphere of the place! The service is very good - the servers were so nice and the food arrived super fast. Great quality of food! I’d totally recommend to anyone and I’ll be back again"
"Shinya Shokudo offers a delightful Yakitori experience, and I'm thrilled my friend invited us for a Sunday double date dinner. I've been craving this type of food! We enjoyed Wagyu Sukiyaki, Tataki Donburi, and the Yakitori Combo – personally, I love the meat, even the liver, heart, cartilage, and gizzards, though I know not everyone does. If you're open to it, give it a try! The sweet black tea and Yuzu mojito were refreshing additions. While it's not the most affordable option, the delicious taste makes it worth the experience in this traditional Japanese Yakitori setting."
"The skewers here are great! Small bites to share with others or trying by yourself is always fun. We tried a lot of different dishes here. Our favorites were the chicken skin, beef tendon, cartilage, negima, dry aged new york with truffle salt, and tsukune. Not all of them are pictured. We also got the small dish set and creamy udon which were just ok, hence the 4 stars. I probably would recommend sticking with the skewers and some drinks. The atmosphere and service is awesome."
"I came across Shinya Shokudo while staying at a hotel around the corner on a recent trip to Bellevue/Redmond. Was glad to see the wide variety of menu items, mostly traditional izakaya type eats. I tried a wide range of the grilled skewers along with the scallop salad and grilled shishito peppers. Everything was delicious, well prepared, authentic in taste (to what you get in Japan), good prices and the service was very good as well. Look forward to eating here again next time I am in town."
"Great experience! I haven't enjoyed a restaurant this much in quite some time. They do contact-free ordering and the food came out quickly. Everything was excellent and the prices were more than reasonable for the caliber of food and service. If you enjoy tea the ice teas are definitely worth ordering, even if you're a tea snob! If you have a party of 3+ I would strongly suggest reservations. I will be coming back, thank you Shinya!"
