"Olympic hospital and its medical centers have a small town/rural character, with doctors and physicians' assistants (glorified nurses) who fall mostly in the range of fair-to-mediocre. If you raise any concerns about the care that's been provided, their attitude--while friendly on the surface--is basically take-it-or-leave-it. So take it from this veteran medical services consumer, and if you have serious issues you are far more likely to get superior care at hospitals and clinics along the Seattle side of Puget Sound. If you want to avoid the high prices and long lines of the State's ferries, you can still get better care at Silverdale medical clinics and the hospital and its associated clinics at Bremerton."
