"Ordered Unagi bento box with shrimp temoura and sashimi and it was yummyful and big portion for the price. The service was slow due to the place was busy. Expect to wait more than 30 minutes. Ambience is like being in Japan but in Portland, OR. Parking lot was dark and narrow parking spot. Reminds me of being in a ghetto area."

"Very authentic. You walk through the door and its like a portal to Japan. The staff are very nice. The menu is great and has a nice mix of authentic & american style Japanese food. I got the sushi platter which had the classic nigiri sushi and the choice of any 2 rolls they offer. It was a lot of food and my dad and I both enjoyed it."

"The most authentic Japanese restaurant. I love their food here. The place gets full fast because it’s not big and sometimes service can be slow but it really is worth the wait. The staff is very nice. I’ve been going here for years and I always end up getting the tempura. 8/13/23 As usual this place never disappoints. The food is great and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I always enjoy my meal."

"The food and service were fantastic. With that mentioned, I'm not sure we would go back. The sink at the sushi bar was foul. Black mildew growing on the back wall and the area around it. The lock on the bathroom door was also broken. It's not a big deal, but it could lead to someone being embarrassed. I'm giving it a 3 star rating because the food and service were top-notch. As a small family owned restaurant, I know it's been hard for the last 3 years. But truly, if it was important, they could have taken the time to put a staneless steal back drop on the sink. Hopefully, they will install a stateless steal backdrop or equivalent. But I also wonder about the area we can't see."
