"I have been to middle school and highschool where this place meets in the middle. Years has gone by and it's only slightly changed."
"Small play structure that could use an upgrade as it is pretty small. Lots of beautiful green grass, great for picnics. Great location. Lots of street parking. No bathrooms. The picnic tables usually have some not so kid friendly people hanging out doing not so kid friendly things, but nothing more than any other park these days I guess... This park is full of potential if given the opportunity. It would be nice to see a water feature (splash pad maybe?), basketball hoops, swings... something. The park is definitely big enough for some new additions."
"Its calm small playground area but I liked it. No restrooms"
"This park has so much potential but unfortunately seems to be forgotten by Portland Parks Bureau. With 1 picnic bench, and a dated playset (no swings), this 2 acre park is under-developed given such a large population of children nearby. I hope PPB does something to change this into something a historically underserved area could actually use. A bigger play set, swings, splash pad, rose garden, community farm. Something like this would be an investment for our community."
"Small quaint neighborhood park in the middle of north Portland. Only one bench in the entire park and only one Picnic table. But it does have a nice play structure. And a good wide open space big enough for Frisbee without interfering with others. Plenty of room for dogs to get exersize, but not fenced on 3 sides, so not a good place to really let dogs or young children run free without close supervision. Plenty of big shade trees to keep dry, or shade from the sun. Well maintained and clean, Portland parks & recs. FTW!"
