"We were concerned that a furniture shipment that had been delayed by the atrocious road conditions promulgated by the winter snow/ice storms. As a backup, we needed to find an alternative "just in case" the shipment was lost in transit. We were very capably assisted by Azi, who presented some very affordable items that - quite honestly - would have been our first choice had we not been homebound by the weather and road conditions. This will definitely be the first stop on future home furnishing shopping expeditions. It is a hidden gem in the metro area, worthy of your attention and consideration. The pricing was very competitive compared to the online alternatives, and the bonus is local delivery with no assembly required."
"Nightmare experience, do not spend your money here. We have been sleeping on the floor for weeks due to Macy's mistakes. Will be sleeping on the floor for another couple weeks. They ordered the wrong box spring two times in a row. Doesn't fit frame. The salesperson ordered the wrong box spring to go with the mattress, so the bed doesn't fit on our frame. We called and asked her to order the correct one. We explained that we had been sleeping on the floor for weeks while waiting for the bed to arrive. A week later, we found out she ordered the wrong size again (the same as the original order). This is causing more delays because the right box spring is backordered. This is terrible and was totally avoidable."
"Our experience here would have been much better with a less pushy salesperson. She greeted us when we came in and said that she was there if we had any questions which was fine. But then she checked on us and didn't listen when we said we prefer to shop alone and would find her with any questions. We felt so uncomfortable with the lack of space to have a private conversation about whether we thought the sofa would work for us or not that we left the store and probably won't be buying a sofa from them even though my last two sofas have been Macy's sofas and I tend to like their style."
"Macy's Furniture Gallery at Washington Square is the place to get all your home furnishings. This store has a large selection to shop, great lighting to see the colors, easy to walk around displays and it is very clean. All store associates wore masks; hand and surface cleanser is available throughout the store. The store is very clean. While shopping here I learned that some well known brand names design furniture to only be sold at Macy's furniture stores. That's why I finally found the sofa I was looking for at this Macy's. The store associates are very helpful and are happy to help you find what you are looking for, but if you just want to shop alone they don't use sales pressure in anyway to bother you while browsing. When I had a question I simply walked over to the sales desk got an answer and kept shopping. When it came time to pick colors and matching pieces the store associate was very helpful every step of the way. The mattress and carpet areas have a huge selection on the 2nd floor, along with outdoor furniture. What I liked best was the ability to easily move around while browsing without having to move anything out of my way. This store is definitely shoppable to ADA standards ...thank you. If you want new furniture or just looking for new ideas, this is the place to go, Macy's Furniture Gallery at Washington Square."
"I would give it 0 if it allowed. They are fast to sell you furniture and stand behind them, but the minute you have an issue with the furniture. Everyone shuts their door they aren't willing to help. I have contacted the store, customer service and they want to slap me in the face with a deal that only benefits them. When I ask to speak to a supervisor I get hung up on. The store manager for the furniture Gallery won't return my calls. They have set up any other phone number that you call to lead to the customer service phone number. They know that the furniture they sold me is defective, but they are hiding behind it not being a manufacturer defect. Does that make it right to sell us a defective sectional? I would hope that Macy's would make this right for us since we have been long time customers. I've attached picture so it can be seen how excessive the problem is."
