"Nice small park you can bring your family to. Nice clean lake with a beautiful view of mount Rainer. Fishing is allowed."
"The family and I come here and Fish from the bank of the park great shaded areas and lots of bites even tho the vegetation can be thick at times causing the use of a bobber or lure/plastics rather than crappie rigs or bottom rigs its a wonderful place to watch he sun go down and the people I have met seem very friendly even at the boat launch down the road. One of my favorite fishing spots to go to!!!!!"
"This was a beautiful recreational area, there are many isolated picnic spots overlooking the lake. They are lots of hiking trails, and lake access The lake is in the middle of a community, with a few others lakes peppered around the Olympia area. Coming from Nor Cal, it was amazing to see everything so green and small lakes in the area on top of all of that."
"Great local park next to the boat launch. There’s some tables if you’d like to bbq. Plenty of grassy areas to lay blankets/towels down to relax. Also, access to Hicks lake which is awesome on the hotter days!"
"A serene and peaceful park tucked away in a residential area, with trails among beautiful old trees, a lawn/clearing for picnics , a couple picnic tables and trash cans, and access to Hicks Lake with a view of Mt Rainier/Tahoma when it's out. There is a small parking lot and paved pathways to both the lake and the large lawn/clearing. No restrooms or playground; dogs must be on a leash."
