Price of meat is 1/4 or less than we pay here in BC...and the quality is so much higher. $108 Canadian gets me a slab of New York strip that I can cut in to 18 - 1" thick pieces ($6 for a 12 oz steak). You cannot buy that quality here at that price The meat is incredibly tender, feels like it's been ages for 6 weeks. Brisket is about $2.25/lb Canadian. Pork loin is half the cost of Costco. Hamburger (lean) is $1/lb. Sausage rounds are $0.88/piece, hotdog wieners are $0.33 each. Cheese works out to almost exactly 1/4 of what we pay in our Costco. Don't buy the pop, it's cheaper here for some reason. Weird. Then there's tons of stuff simply not available up here. We go about 1 or 2 times a month."
