"Had left a good review in past but last night I had one of the most unacceptable experiences at the 4th Plaine location. Booked appointments for me and my 6 year old son to get a haircut, as I've done a dozen times. My son went first, I was told I had to wait in the lobby. Figured it made the lady uncomfortable for me to watch his haircut so I did. I go to get my haircut while my son's is being finished. The lady with short dyed hair/tattoos tried to tell me and my son he had to wait in the lobby. I explained i cant do that, there's no one with me to watch him. He is 6 years old, I'm not leaving him un attended in public. I state that quite firmly, and that I will leave with half my head shaved. After a few seconds of back and forth i am obviously emanating straight up rage. Angie, who I've always had good experiences with stepped in to de escalate and allowed my son to sit where I could see him. I was pretty angry they decided to announce and enforce this policy in the middle of my haircut. My anger must've made the girl cutting my hair upset because she left me with the worst haircut I've ever had. I was so irritated with the experience I didn't notice till I got home. Fortunately I was able to get it fixed elsewhere. My issue is that this supposed new policy should have been announced right off the bat as I've always had my son come with me this way. The lady with the short hair and tattoos trying to tell me authoritatively that I had to leave my son with strangers unsupervised was honestly outrageous. Will never return to any location this company owns, deeply regret tipping. If anything i should get paid for hving to walk around like that. It is a shame because for several years I've always gotten great haircuts and service for me and my son at this establishment. Will try to post a picture of my hair before I got it fixed."

"I was going to give 5 stars. My son had a phenomenal 1st cut by Asuni? I can't remember her name exactly. Then my husband returned, my son ended up with choppy marks not blended. I was almost teary-eyed. I was so impressed with first cut. I would only go back to the first person. Update: I have been contacted to fix this."

"^^UPDATED REVIEW: I'm not very happy with these people. I took my son there for his 2nd haircut...a simple buzz with a #2 attachment. I had a coupon for $5.00 off. I asked for just the haircut...i specified that no extras this time, just the haircut. MARY CHARGED ME THE REGULAR PRICE & TOOK MY COUPON!! I was in a hurry and didn't realize until the next day! *Previous review*Good customer service, friendly stylists, super long wait...my nine year old son really liked it. Basically Supercuts for men only...."
