"This creepy looking place was surprisingly good. Went there are 8am in the morning and there were lots of people going in an out, lots of customers. It didn’t look like the dim sum was freshly made but I gotta say it was pretty good. I don’t usually like shrimp dumplings or siu mai much but it was shockingly good."
"Dim Sum King is absolutely the king of the dim sum jungle. I would recommend stopping by if you live in Seattle or are visiting the ID. The shrimp siu mai were good and not too fishy, the shrimp dumplings were also good, and the egg tart was very good. I read complaints that the egg tart had too much crust, but I disagree. The crust was well executed and flakey. The custard was perfect, not too sweet, and warm. The real star of the show is the prices. Finally somewhere I can afford to eat in this godforsaken town. I am a student, I can barely afford a latte at this rate. Dim Sum King is affordable and not only that, but delicious. The service wasn’t great but who cares, the food is cheap and good. You fill out a paper form and hand it to the person behind the counter. It wasn’t too busy, I went Saturday at lunch. I honestly enjoyed the aesthetic of the place, takes me back to my childhood. Something wholesome and untouched by the techno finance Amazon hustle and bustle that’s taking over my dear old city. Actually I’m from Pittsburgh so Seattle is hardly my dear old city. Honestly I can’t wait to move out of this place. However, when I do move, I will miss Dim Sum King because it rocks!"
"Good place for dim sum. Got here around 9am and was served right away. After 9:30am, it was getting crowded. Overall, everything was pretty good. The siu mai (pork dumpling) was a little fatty. Har gow (shrimp dumpling), shrimp rice roll, sticky rice in lotus leave and the red bean mochi (flat rice cake) were delicious. Egg tart was good but the crust was thick. Overall, a decent place for good dim sum."
"Delicious dim sum at affordable prices. Tried for the first time today, i expected Har Gow to be big and Shumai to be tiny but Har Gow is actually smaller and Shumai is HUGE. This places is definitely one of my lunch delivery spots now. Thank you for the amazing food!"
"I recommend shrimp dumplings, custard bun, and egg tart. This place is “you get what you get for the price.” The prices are very cheap — most items are $1.30. The shrimp dumpling is really soft and stuffed with shrimp, which I absolutely loved. I also liked the custard bun and egg tart because they were super cheap. But overall, it wasn’t “so delicious that I would go back” kind of place."
