"First, generally I love the Mallory franchise. I buy a lot of paint for my remodels, but I won’t go to the PT location. We purchased a dropcloth, and 18 inch roller cover to begin a paint job. First time roller went to the wall, the roller hubs came unglued. I brought the roller back to the store with the receipt explained what happened. Staff questioned me and also wanted to know where the original packaging was. I left it back at the job site. I just wanted an even exchange. Congratulations, your store won't be getting any of the paint I need to do the rest of the interior and exterior of a local house I'm working on over a $13 exchange."

"I started painting in 1973 and I was a Ben-Moore man for many many years. I sold my company and retired as a painter about 5 years ago, I had to do some painting around my house so I thought I'd stop in to the Ben-Moore store for old times sake. Huge mistake! Very large! There wasn't a professional person in the store they had three people doing the work of one person because there was absolutely no one in the store, (now I know why), I asked them to Simply add a little colorant to the gallon of paint and it was like an act of Congress they had to confer and discuss, the one fella Caleb seemed absolutely insulted that I would even ask. Color Me Crazy but when you're spending $80 for a gallon of paint it should damn well be what you want it to be and a slight adjustment shouldn't be a huge deal, then he was cold and distant and borderline rude the entire time I was in there which was way too long (almost an hour!). I will give a two thumbs up to Klaus who was very amiable but again I don't think very knowledgeable about paint. Contrast that by going to Henry's Hardware and getting a gallon of quality paint in 1/5 of the time for less than half of the cost. Need it a little darker or a little lighter? No problem. I have to say they cured me of my Nostalgia concerning Ben-Moore, not to mention that in my expert opinion, Ben-Moore paint is not what it once was."

"Amazing colors and the paint is so really , really good. Worth the expense. This paint is the best on the Peninsula. My one and only complaint is that they do not have hours that are for us working people. Open one day on the weekend and close before 5 on Saturdays. Makes going there for me tricky. So, often I get my accessories like paint brushes and stuff elsewhere."

The store is clean, organized, and has everything you need to get your painting job done. We like the satin finish paint, which gives a little glow and masks imperfections in the walls. The store keeps your purchases on file, so if you want to repaint with the same color, they can tell you what you used years ago. The friendly, helpful staff can advise you on the product to use for your project."
