"Great place to go in a pinch if you live out here in Vernonia far away from other larger and cheaper grocery stores. It's too expensive overall for all of my everyday grocery shopping, but it's great for smaller trips, odds and ends, and last-minute items I need. Staff is always friendly, and I'm happy to help support local businesses when I can."
"The employees are rude and will treat you poorly when you have a question. Pricing is horrible as often something will be on sale then it rings up higher. When asked about it you get the worst attitude ever. Veggies and meats look old and most of the stuff is expired yet still charge a lot. Hope things change soon.."
"Everyone working at R&S was very helpful and very nice. It's good to know that good people still exist. That might sound extreme but now days everyone has a reason to not like each other. It's just good to know there are people who still treat each other like people. The service industry has a lot to teach people about humility."
"Its the only store in vernonia so they have the market cornered, literally. Not exactly friendly to out of towners. Way over priced and inconsistent with their "sale" price. Was buying adult beverages and sale price was 16.99 for a 6 pack, rang up 18.99 plus deposit when I brought up sale price was basically told "oh well, don't like it don't buy it". And who the hell does their pricing, 6 pack of Hershey bars is 10.55 but individual full size Hershey bars are 1.55 a piece, that comes out to 1.76 a piece. Oh yeah, buy your firewood at Pihls Landing, $6 a bundle as opposed to $8 bundle. Next time my we take a family summer camping trip we might just bring more supplies"
