About the Business
Stanwood Camano Thrift Store is a charitable institution located at 27025 102nd Avenue Northwest in Stanwood, Washington. Our store offers a variety of equipment and supplies to help individuals stay warm during the winter months. We rely on donations from the community to meet the needs of those living without permanent shelter. Our Food Bank is dedicated to alleviating hunger and meeting the basic needs of individuals and families in our area.
We have distributed coats to needy children through our Warm Coats for Kids program, meals through H.O.P.E. Meals for Kids, and presents through the Christmas House program. Your donations help us feed families, as $6.00 can provide a complete dinner for a family of four. We also support children in need through our free or reduced lunch program in the Stanwood Camano School District.
You can support our efforts by donating non-perishable items at our Food Bank entrance or signing up for our A Simple Gesture program. Volunteering at the Food Bank, Thrift Store, or our Youth Programs is another way to make a difference in our community. We organize events throughout the year to raise food and funds, with the support of our generous community and local businesses.
Recent donations and grants have helped us expand our services, including the purchase of a new refrigerated truck. We are grateful for the support of organizations like Boeing Grant and Island County CARES. Stanwood-Camano Food Bank Services is committed to inclusivity and does not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or other factors. We strive to create a welcoming environment for all members of our community.

"The thrift store smelled like old people pooped themselves, and I have a very weak sense of smell, so it was really bad. Good prices tho"
"This is the worst food bank ever. It depends on the race when you get in the door. I got here at 10:05. I got in the door at 1045. The door opens at 10. There was people that came here after me that got in long before I did. If your not black or Spanish you don't matter to them. Shame on you Stanwood Camano food bank for being racist"
"I would love to donate here more often, but EVERY single time I’ve tried to drop things off in the last couple of years, their sign says “not accepting donations today”. They need to make donating a lot easier!"
"Always find what I need. 3 Big rooms loaded with stuff, clothing only $2 each, lots of kitchen wares, and, always friendly volunteers. Sometimes they have a mystery day or a wheel what gives you a discount on your while purchase amount. Win win!"
"Made a short visit to the thrift store today to pick up some eating utensils for the office breakdown. Seems our forks and spoons sprouted legs and walked away! This store is so well organized. My compliments to the staff and volunteers who make it such a wonderful place to shop! Anyway, as usual, I left with more things than I went to buy. Always able to find at least one treasure!"
