"2/2024 update: Decided to add some pics of the cold cases (salads etc.) at dinner time. Out of coffee. 11/22 update: We've been to a few other IKEAs lately (Seattle, Wisconsin, etc.)... ALL of their restaurants were better. A great deal better. Pre 2022 review: Rarely have anything in the cold cases when we visit... 0% on salads. 10% on desserts. Ran out of cream for coffee more than once (hint - buy a couple of boxes of shelf stable half and half as a back up). Run out of some hot foods on some visits. Basically not what it used to be. Still mostly ok, but you can't even count on that. Old pre covid (2019) review 4*: I'd rate lunch and dinner 5 stars. The holiday buffet 4 stars (good quality, but odd choices). And the breakfast (I didn't know they did bfast) I'm eating now 3 stars. Most of the hot foods are room temperature... Bit of a food safety no no. Doubt they are out long enough to grow anything but... So for $3.29 for everything in the pic I expect heating? I should be so lucky."
"The food is horrible, it taste like hospital grade food. There is no juice or soda, just flavor sprizers, processed, and there is no service. Just people who put food on your plate and take your money, and clean tables, it's a kin to a school cafeteria. Don't eat here or waste your time. Shop and leave. The atmosphere is a crowded long line and a hot spot for contracting covid or flu."
"During each visit to IKEA, I find myself spending a considerable amount on home accessories and typically allocate around half of my budget to the IKEA restaurant, which I thoroughly enjoy due to the delicious food they offer. Their service is also consistently impressive. Although I tend to forget to take pictures of my food, this time I managed to capture a couple of shots after finishing three sets of plates with my family."
"Always love a nice IKEA meal! Prices are every reasonable and the swedish meatballs never disappoint. The mac and cheese was a little lackluster and were a little watery. The fries were very crispy and had the perfect crunch on the outside with a soft fluffiness to contrast the exterior. Although the line looked long, it moved quite quickly"
"Not bad, but not spectacular either. Swedish Meatballs were good of course, but the best stuff was the vegetable medallion and the mash potatoes. If you decide to eat at an IKEA, expect a cafeteria atmosphere with hipper furniture. Good inexpensive meal with a clean look, but not much else. An Amboy B-."
