"I rarely write reviews, but when you get exceptional customer service that goes above and beyond, it should be recognized. My temp warning light came on, and when I took it into Ty's, they said I needed the coolant system flushed and refilled, which would take about half an hour and cost $95. Turns out that my friend had put motor oil in the coolant, and they had to flush the system 4 times and took 6 hours. When I picked up the car, I paid $200, but they still only charged me for the original 30 minutes of labor. They also topped off my oil for free and diagnosed the squeaky noise it was making. Truly amazing service. I will be taking my car back for all future work."
"I took my van to tys by accident I thought I had pulled up the info on a garage on 16th who had previously done some work for me I had my van towed there not running a hour later I received a phone call it was the manager at tys who gave me the best news "my van was running it was just a fuse and no charge today" as I hung up the phone I had to pause I thought to myself did that just happen there is still some honest people in the world I would highly recommend this shop !"
"Took our van here to get a check up before a long road trip. In the end we were given an extremely inaccurate estimate. After getting a second opinion from a different mechanic it is clear we were being taken advantage of. Recommend you stay clear of these guys unless you have a very good understanding of your vehicle and the issues you want addressed."
"My car broke down while we were in town to see a show. After replacing my battery at O’reilly’s we determined my alternator was bad. I quickly called Ty’s about an hour and half before closing and they even offered to replace the alternator that same day! We decided to hitch a ride home with friends instead - they still had my car repaired the very next morning. Excellent customer service and very reasonably priced. If I lived nearby I would make this my go to autoshop."
"Dropping your car off at a random auto shop is always nerve wracking. Was forced to do so given labor shortages causing 1-month wait times elsewhere, and I'm glad I used Ty's! They got me in right away to diagnose my Jeep with rough idle/misfiring issues. The shop was upfront it could be hard to diagnose since my check engine light wasn't on, and a code may not be produced. They diagnosed the issue same day, ordered parts, and started to get to work. Car is fixed in less than two days, and at a fair price. He even tried to be reasonable with number of parts replaced to save money. Most importantly, they showed me old parts without being asked. Quick, fair, good work, and transparency. I HIGHLY recommend."
