"Ken was our server, he did a great job. I started off with Thai Iced Tea. The Spicy Chicken Salad came next and it was delicious. Mussaman chicken curry hit the spot. BBQ Pork Fried Rice was excellent. It's a very light rice dish with thinly cut bbq pork. I didn't have room for the fried bananas. Next time! Recommended"

"The Friendly Village is an unassuming strip mall on Sandy Blvd with one of the best little Thai restaurants in Portland. We ordered chicken potstickers, larb with chicken, barbecue pork fried rice, and Lao style papaya salad with sticky rice. The vegetables were fresh. The seasoning for every dish was perfect. Service was fast even with a steady stream of folks stopping in for takeout orders. Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu."

"Cute, little hole in the wall place. I was intrigued by the high reviews and i can now understand why. Service was great, food was even better. Cannot describe how flavorful my curry was, and the salad rolls with peanut sauce. I had the paradise curry with jumbo shrimp and my friend had the tofu stir fry. Definitely recommend!"
