"Ordered our "Cadillac Margaritas" trace tequila only, but we have been in here dozens of times over the years, and after this visit, I can't think of one reason we spent any time here, it's always been an over the top insincere "Amigos" from when the drinks are dropped off to ordering and food delivered sometimes is less than 5-10 minutes..total, it has lost some of the fun, and cannot or will not keep up with the food trucks with thoughtfully made Mexican food. Please no hate, I don't support bad management decisions when ingesting food is concerned, the days of sauce covering cheap ingredients is over."

"Quick Service and Beautiful Decor, but Overpriced and Unappetizing: A One-Star Review for El Indio Positives: I must commend the wait staff at El Indio, as they were impressively fast and friendly during our visit. The food also arrived promptly, and the interior decor of the building was stunning, creating a pleasant ambiance. Negatives: Unfortunately, my positive impressions ended there, as the negatives quickly overshadowed the experience. The prices on the menu were shockingly high, with a burrito costing a staggering $20. This exorbitant pricing left us feeling disappointed and reluctant to order additional items. Moreover, the quality of the food itself was abysmal. The shredded chicken was disappointingly bland and dry, lacking any appealing flavor. The fajita chicken, on the other hand, was oddly seasoned to the point of being inedible. The chimichanga was ridiculously small, akin to a mere $2 burrito from Taco Bell, which was both surprising and underwhelming. To our dismay, every dish we tried tasted like cheap, mass-produced food reminiscent of Cisco products. The lack of authentic and well-prepared flavors was a significant letdown. Regrettably, our meal at El Indio had an unfortunate consequence, as both my wife and I suffered from stomach discomfort, leading to an unpleasant bout of diarrhea. This distressing experience only added to our disappointment and discomfort. Given the unpalatable taste of the food, the exorbitant prices, and the uncomfortable aftermath, I strongly advise against visiting El Indio. There are surely better Mexican restaurants in the area that offer more reasonable prices and delicious, authentic cuisine. Rating: ★☆☆☆☆"

"They served Chips and Salsa free for customers. Actually salsa sauce is way too spicy for me. After eat Chips and Salsa… I drank too much water and full of my belly. And I can’t eat much my dinner Fajitas. I ordered Steak and Chicken combo Fajitas but I didn’t recognize they are stirred all meat up together. Because when I was living in Washington DC. Mostly Mexican restaurants Served me the fajitas combo they gave to me separately cooked each meat and only displayed it same dish. So I was shocked when I saw this restaurant’s combo Fajitas. Also I try to my husband and my son’s dishes they are just ok. It doesn’t a really good or delicious. But crews are nice our server is very kind, nice and caring for us. Facility is clean, neat and family had a good time."

"I have been to many Mexican restaurant in Portland and none of them can meet the standards that Indo set when it come to food quality, hospitality, and the atmosphere that Indo has. Family friendly for sure. They are on the more pricey side but they do not skip out on the portions. One dish is enough for 2."
