"We were driving thru Roy, and stopped to use the bathroom, the bathrooms were immaculately clean. The Friday night specials were intriguing, so we stayed and had dinner. The ribs were AMAZING, the Rib eye steak was EXCELLENT, the home made soups were FANTASTIC, the baked beans, REAL mashed potatoes and gravy were EXQUISITE, the salad was fresh, crisp, and TERRIFIC. The staff treated my family like ROYALTY. We met the owner, and we are GLAD we stopped for dinner. We HIGHLY recommend this small, family owned business. GREAT food, EXCELLENT conversation. Can't wait till next time we're in Roy to eat there again, and try their cole slaw, and potato salad."

We were fortunate enough to be the guinea pigs; they tried cooking my wife's hash browns on the grill and in the oven, my burger was made with a new burger meat for The Place, and the steak was insane. My wife ordered the lunch special, which was a ribeye 1/2 the size of a standard size paper plate, 3 eggs cooked how you like, 2 slices of toast, and a saucer loaded with hash browns, for $10.99."
