About the Business
Located at 11610 Trek Drive East in Eatonville, Washington, the Forest Cafe at Northwest Trek is not just your average cafe. This institution is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of the surrounding area by planting native trees and educating volunteers on the importance of tree conservation. On a rainy December morning, volunteers from Columbia Bank gathered to help plant 260 trees around the park, learning from horticulturist Jake Pool about the impact of climate change on tree health. Pool emphasized the interconnectedness of trees and the vital role they play in our ecosystem. Despite the challenging weather conditions, volunteers eagerly grabbed their shovels and got to work, including a young girl who was eager to help plant new trees. The institution aims to plant 1,000 to 3,000 trees each year, with the help of dedicated volunteers and generous donations from local growers. If you're interested in volunteering to help plant trees at Northwest Trek, you can email [email protected] for more information. Join the effort to preserve the beauty of the forest and make a positive impact on the environment.

Reviews
"The burger was alright but my only complaint is how the fountain drink tea tasted like root beer which is not what I wanted. It's alright I suppose. Not amazing but not horrible."
"I was served quickly and there were so many choices! I really love the Angus burger and I got a discount with the membership! The fireplace is super cool and they have alot of treats. It's also close to the bathrooms and kids play area so it's the perfect spot!"
"Staff were in the back for some time before noticing the two people waiting patiently to order. The food was hot and eatable but that’s about it. Combo includes waffle fries and a fountain drink, but half of the fountain options were out so I paid for water. Small indoor space with a fireplace, the table closest was occupied with a man playing video games with the sound on?! Zoo cafe prices, no discount for members. I’d skip it next time."
"Nice seating area with a fireplace and totem pole. Decent food. Outdoor covered picnic shelter and outdoor tables and chairs with unbrellas. Both overlooking Kids Trek play area."
