"This is my favorite type of place. On the surface, it’s rough around the edges and has a very local feel to it. But once you walk through the door, you will find a fantastic place with interesting details and very good food. The person at front said they are having a terrible time finding good employees so they made the tough decision to have people seat and serve themselves in order to keep the restaurant going. We certainly didn’t mind and if anything, it enhanced the evening. We were all impressed with the quality of the food and I’d call Midtown Public House a must see place in Port Angeles. Don’t let the old and non descript exterior fool you. This is a great place to eat. There appears to be an attached bar that was pretty busy though we never went in since our parents were with us. Hope this place stays afloat. I think it’s great. Michael Delehanty Compass Real Estate"
"Their udon noodles with lemongrass tofu was to die for!! Pretty big portions too. We also tried their pork belly bites and chicken wings. They really know how to make food here. Not a ton of tables inside, so on a busy night you might have to wait a bit. I didn’t look but I saw a pool table somewhere back there. They have also have a big chess in the middle of the dining room!"
"I am a vegetarian and husband is not. This was the perfect place to grab food from. I am extremely picky about my tofu, it was cooked to perfection. We both got a Bahn mi and both where sooooo yummy. If a couple likes the same food you could easily just order 1 and split it. But the bread was fantastic, held up so we where able to finish ours off late at night when we got hungry again."
"Really delicious Asian food. Had the spring rolls, Tan Tan Mein and Chili sesame bowl. All we’re really delish. Highly recommend."
"A surprising Asian fusion fine in port angeles. Feels very much like a dive bar, especially if you are seated in the lounge, which I quite enjoyed. Pork belly is always a win, as are tacos - and you'll find both in abundance here. When I can come back I'll be trying amy version of their KFC (Korean fried chicken) as it looked like one of their more popular dishes. This spot is great for dinner with family or friends, casual drinks - and hearty laughs. The servers here are genuinely kind and informative."
