"This park is a slice of heaven! I rarely see other folks, the trails are well maintained, and although it’s not groomed in the winter, all the better for snowshoeing and cutting my own trail on skis! Great views of the lake and not uncommon to see deer, bald eagles, and other wildlife! No bikes allowed on the trails, but they are dog friendly as long as doggo is on leash :) These trails also connect to the McFarland dog park parking area, so you can give them a nice free range run in the dog park, then pop them on a leash and go for a hike!"
