"This is a great resort in a great location. Perfect getaway for families with younger kids. Unfortunately, they have a cancellation policy that isn't inline with today's standards. If you cancel, even well in advance, they will make you pay a $25 cancellation fee."
"DON’T GO DURING SPRING BREAK!! We stayed at Blue Harbor during Spring Break 2023, and it was severely understaffed as the college kids making up their workforce were off on their own Spring Breaks. This resulted in MULTIPLE sections of the Water Park being closed during the day, usually in a rotating fashion. Nothing was spared from closure, but some things were closed more often than others (such as the twisty body slides for the 3-6 year old kids). However, on our last full day there, the Water Park was so ridiculously understaffed barely anything was open but the main pool area (some pics below) Great location, great rooms, and we’ll visit again, but not on Spring Break!"
"Great place for a quick winter waterpark getaway. Went during Christmas break and everything was open and busy. Waterpark is nice but is showing its age. Could use some upgrades/replacements. Staff was great and rooms were clean and nice. Got a family of 5 or 6 get a kids boathouse suite."
"I am posting this because I wrote the below email twice to management, yet never heard back. It's been over 4 months. Apparently customer satisfaction and resolution is not high on their priority list. I am not one to publicly shame a company, but when the company does not respect their customers enough to, at very minimum return an email, I feel it is necessary to let others know how they operate. My family stayed at Blue Harbor for 4 nights earlier this month. Overall, we had a great experience. However, my family was extremely disappointed with the early morning noise with deliveries occurring outside of our window. Being on vacation allows for the few moments where we can actually sleep in past 7am, yet deliveries started during the 6am hours on several mornings. Between the beeping of the truck reversing, the banging from the materials being unloaded and back of truck door being closed/open, and then employees talking loudly as they unpacked materials, we unfortunately did not get a chance to sleep in for most of our stay. I had inquired at the front desk about moving to the other side of the hotel, but the employee stated that nothing was available for our room type. I also reported this problem to an employee again at checkout, but was met with a simple "sorry to hear about that." If your hotel is going to have early morning deliveries that wake up guests while on vacation, then these rooms should be discounted and guests should be aware of what to expect. I would like resolution to this unfortunate part of our stay to accommodate the inconvenience and disruption to our vacation. Thank you in advance for your time and assistance in the matter."
"Overall experience was good. Little pricey for the service you get. We had a bday there for my daughter and they forgot to leave a stuffed animal and card in the room like they said they would. Staff seems very young and green. Room was mostly clean, some left overs in the tub and shampoo was empty. Room was great with a great view. Indoor water park was nice. No big crowds or lines. There is a 20%service fee when ever you use your card. So make sure you bring cash. Food at the resort is basic and pricy. Breakfast buffet, you get more for free at a Holiday Inn. Not trying to be negative but just giving the facts. With all this being said I would definitely go again. So take my review for what’s it’s worth."
