"I’m new and everyone has been amazing, Helpful, kind and friendly. So super excited to jump in!!! So many people put so much time and energy into this space. You are expected to bring love, compassion and assistance and clean. You make a mess clean it up. This is a do-ocracy, does it need to be fixed, talk to the right people, learn and help. This is a space that takes everyone to participate, communicate, have ears and eyes open to be safe for yourself and others. It’s a great group. So happy to have found this group."
"I am new to Milwaukee makerspace but it has been a great experience! As a member have access to lots of great tools after training. The training is the key! I am learning lots of things that I never thought I would."
"Absolutely fabulous! Great people for starters. Every type of machine you can think of. Lots of classes to participate in. Variety variety variety! ❤️"
"I'm biased because I now belong to this group, but it's incredible. Pretty much any craft or "making" skill is supported, and you can find people who are knowledge about everything. It's a Milwaukee gem that is known about, but not nearly enough! Currently there are two locations, one in St Francis and one in Bayview."
"I have visited makerspaces across the country have been a member at makerspaces in another state. The Milwaukee Makerspace is by far my favorite. It is the most welcoming makerspace experience I have had to date. It takes effort to integrate into the community (like any community), but once you establish relationships here, it is like having a second family."
