"My cat was referred to this clinic for a CT scan and I was told they would call me to set up the appointment. After about 2 weeks of no calls, my primary vet suggested I call them to see what was going on. The staff was nice and we were able to schedule her quickly for the following Monday morning, but they admittedly overlooked her referral. They said they'd email me information to review for Mondays appointment, but never did. They apologized when I got to the office and offered me a large discount because of the lack of follow through and communication on their end. I did not ask for this discount, I had actually blamed myself thinking I wasn't clear in spelling my email address. Scan results were hopeful to come in on Wednesday or Thursday. By that Saturday, I didn't have results, my cat was declining quickly and I was anticipating needing to take her to the emergency vet. I called Countryside hoping they had results they could send to the ER, they didn't. I got my cat through the weekend, called her primary vet on Monday who followed up with Countryside and confirmed no results yet. I ended up having to say goodbye to my cat that day. The vet at the emergency clinic thought it absolutely ridiculous to not have CT results in a day or two, this was a week. While the staff was kind and apologetic, the actual process will never be forgotten. The results likely would have confirmed what we suspected, more cancer, but she didn't deserve to wait as long as she did, for answers that I should have had. Please learn from this and do better."
