"Rented a Suite for the evening for my wife and I. We just wanted a night to ourselves. Room was in terrible shape! We had to call the front desk to ask for new bedding. The comforter had holes in it, and was stained. The sheets and pillows had very bad stains on them. They didn't have any housekeeping at the time. So we had to make our own bed. We never received a comforter either. Walls and table had something splattered all over them. Counter tops where chipped. Many of the cabinets were broken. Cabinet doors were loose and falling off. Ceiling had previous damage to it. All they did was patch it. Never sanded it, and never painted it. Couch cushions weren't put back properly by housekeeping. Carpeting was stained all over the place. I tried talking to staff at the front desk in the morning about it. She was very short with her words, rude, and showed no emotion to show she cared. I asked to speak with management. She told me that management was not there. They would have to call me back. Never called me back. I was told by the front desk staff that they couldn't do anything for me anyway because I booked through Expedia. So it's really not their problem anyway. I definitely will not stay at this Microtel or any other Microtel location again!"

"If you’re entering the dimly lit parking lot after sunset, you will find a rather charming ambiance in the flickering light. You won’t notice the chipping paint, loose electrical cords, or litter, which tricks you into thinking entering the building is almost a good idea. After the rickety doors barely make it open and the wave of suffocating mustiness assaults your nose, you will find yourself standing in a rather depressing common area. Missing door frames, exposed wires, and a barely functioning elevator are what greet you. But wait, there’s more! Once you cheat death and make it to your room, you will be greeted by a dingy shoe box in desperate need of renovation and a new color scheme. The mattresses are stiff and just looking at them has you contracting bedbug bites (none seen, just the vibe) and syphilis (again, hopefully just the vibe). The bathroom is just as depressing as the rest of the building, with the shower curtain hanging on for dear life by a literal thread. But don’t worry, the shower is the perfect place to quietly sob while you contemplate the life choices that brought you here. No worries, only ALL your neighbors will hear every gently wept moment as the walls are paper thin (this IS a cautionary tale if you decide to use the bathroom). If you don’t like being alone, this is the hotel for you! The family of rats living in the wall will keep you company all night long!"

"Staff was mostly friendly. Hot tub had a ant floating around in it. I woke up with bug bites, they were raised and very itchy. I didn't see no bed bugs but I did see a spider and killed it and webs. So not sure if I got bitten by a spider or bed bugs I just didn't find. I got bitten 5 times. I'm glad I got bitten and my kids didn't. I lifted sheet from bed and there was a big blood stain though. Looked from a period. Only thing good was staff was pretty much friendly except one staff member was kind of rude."

"Molded bread, 3 towels in the hot tub room, empty first aid kit with note saying more at front desk, towel bin was missing so people were using the only table in the room, there were two chairs and that table in all. There was a bag of garbage on walkway during the whole stay, garbage can in room grotesque. Hair on the faucet to the shower, floors in hall and stairs were covered in ick (IDK what it was but gross). Only 3 towels in the room one had a yellow stain on it, two wash cloths one lotion, on conditioner. My sister woke up with bug bites in the morning, (it's winter!). Would not recommend, there is lots to be desired."

"Meh, it is what it is. The first thing I noticed is the building was obviously built with wood framing instead of concrete like most of the higher-end places. I could hear EVERYONE walking around as if they weighted 400 Lbs; not to mention the creaking of the floor joists. In the morning when the person in the next room tok a shower, it sounded like they were in my bathroom it was that loud. This is a Low-end hotel so I understand this is part of that experience. Other thing is there were no table lamps, so in the evening, you couldn't turn off the main room lights and just use the lamp, it was all light or nothing. The folks at the front desk were very attentive and helpful (I asked to move rooms because the person above me sounded like they were going to eventually fall throught he floor they walked so loudly). The front desk person got me moved with no problems even though I was woken up the next morning by the neighboring guests taking showers and walking. All in all, I doubt I'll stay here again, but I was looking for cheap and it was that so I got what I asked for."
