"I don’t know them personally, or the quality of work, but I called in April to have them clean the carburetors on my 98’ 115 hp Johnson. They said “at least” $1200. I bought the kits for $60 and did them in about 3 hours myself. I’m sure I’m not as good at it as they are. So…even with part markup your looking at 3-$400 an hour. Just sayin."

"I called in March and talked to the owner about putting my dock and lift in this spring and taking it out in the fall. For several weeks I left messages and emailed him pictures of my dock and lift. Around late April early May I managed to catch him in the office and he said he was installing a dock next to our place and he would look at it. The opener came and passed Soon it was June. I began to think I should get a man to talk to him and maybe that would help. My friend called and found out that several years ago I asked them what it would cost to put my dock and lift in and the price was to high for me at that time. Come to find out he had no intention of putting my dock and lift in. He was just stringing me along. He must have had a good laugh every time I called and wrote. The moral to this story is don’t say you can’t afford it because he will hold that against you forever."
