The facilities are very clean and comfortable, and we are usually able to get in and out very quickly without having to wait long to be seen by the vet. We got an appointment right away, and were really impressed with our first visit for (healthy dog) Tucker. Great staff, interested and thorough, good advice re vaccinations. "Awful experience and would not recommend this vet. After much digging around, reading reviews, and asking for recommendations from friends, I decided to bring our new puppy here for his initial visit in 2021. We bought our purebred, well bred puppy from a reputable, responsible breeder-NOT a puppy mill or backyard breeder. She has been breeding and showing her dogs for over 35 years and has very specific instructions in caring for her dogs once they go home, which are supported by the veterinarians she has worked with for years. I brought my puppy here during COVID precaution times, so I could not go inside. I sent the paperwork that our breeder sends with each of her dogs. The vet called me, while I was in the parking lot waiting to hear how the appointment was going. He had the audacity to ask if I had ever met this breeder and if I trusted her. He didn’t agree with her recommendations (even down to the puppy food that we were feeding) and was downright rude and insulting about it. I quickly decided he was not the vet for us and found another clinic that was completely understanding of why our breeder had the requirements she does and was willing to accommodate us-I didn’t have to explain or defend our breeders’ guidelines. I do not recommend this vet. Our puppy (now adult dog) is thriving and healthy, having followed the care recommended by our breeder. There was nothing wrong with her suggestions, it just didn’t fit the cookie-cutter care this vet wanted to follow."

"They really show they care and feel compassion for your pet! They were very good with my cat who can be very nervous and a difficult to handle at the vet. They did their best to make him comfortable and work with him rather than against him and it really made a difference. Highly recommend Isthmus Veterinary Care!"

"They care so much and it honestly shows. They got my cat in fast and were so kind since she was really shy and she did amazing with them (better than with me haha!). They also helped me get her into her carrier which was so kind. I really appreciate them and their awesome receptionists. My cat is so much better after seeing them and super grateful! Sabrina appreciates it too!"
