"I'm a 30 year trucking veteran and I have been working for Fuchs Trucking for almost five years now. I moved from The Netherlands, where I am originally from and where I worked as an OTR truck driver for 25 years, driving all over Europe and the middle east. Fuchs Trucking provided me with additional training, so I could get my European CDL transferred to an American CDL, while getting paid! They have shown nothing but support for me. Even when I got involved in a serious accident, on the second day of the job, in very dense fog. I got seriously injured but, their main concern was always my well being and the entire staff, from management to dispatch to mechanics in the shop, showed immense support for which I am still grateful today. Even the owner of the company took the time to drive from Sauk City to Madison (where I lived at the time) every other Wednesday to see me and have lunch with me during my recovery. Soon after I was back working again, they gave me a brand new 2019 Freightliner Cascadia and now, just 3 years later, I have a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia. They have spent millions in renewing their equipment and it shows. The guys at the shop do their very best to keep everything rolling and help the drivers with anything they can. Dispatch will work with each driver to meet their home time preferences and go above and beyond to keep everyone happy. My 5 years with Fuchs have been the best in my entire 30 year career. The pay is good, they offer the chance to make extra money through bonuses, they've got good benefits, great work atmosphere, and great people working there. Like every other Trucking Company, they're feeling the effects of the driver shortage as well but, in my opinion, are still very flexible and resourceful to get everything done while respecting the driver's needs and preferences. Regardless if you are new at trucking or a veteran, I highly recommend getting in touch with Fuchs. "Veteran driver with 30 yrs experience and was mislead from the very start. I quit after 7days This is a business that hires more non cdl divers then experienced drivers. The equipment is not maintained and you as I did will have constant issues with the equipment your given. Dispatch is the worst I've ever worked with. The owner is arrogant and couldn't care less about his help. You will be sold this business is for the driver but its not. The pay is poor for the work. If the employees are treated so poorly imagine being a customer. This is no doubt the worst trucking business i ever worked for. Fortunately I found work the same day I left. No hard feelings just disappointed that I was fooled. When you do quit you will be shorted and your employment offer will not be honored."
